Judy Gutierrez, Office Manager

Delivering outstanding customer service has always been an essential part of a day's work for Judy. As Southwest Dental’s office manager, she brings with her over 15 years of administrative, accounting, and team-building experience. Judy says she regularly finds herself drawing on her entrepreneurial skills and her education in business and accounting. Before joining the Southwest Dental team, she managed in the retail arena for several years. She thoroughly enjoys supporting her team and most importantly our patients.

Judy is a native of New Mexico and thrives on using her skills to serve her community. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys working alongside her husband in purchasing and refurbishing homes.

Sarah Ranjbaran, Administrator 

Community and comfort is Sarah’s greatest attention when it comes to the patients at Southwest Dental. Sarah wants to ensure that every patient that walks through the door knows how valued they are by our whole team. Not only does she support Southwest Dental as a dental office administrator, she also supports Dr. R as his wife in and out of the dental office.

Lisa, Practice Administrator

I’ve been in the medical field for over 14 years working in office administration. I am so blessed and grateful to be a part of this dental team. I love seeing patients smile and I really enjoy meeting so many amazing people in my community. My favorite part of this job is making patients feel welcome and cared for. Seeing them leave with a bigger smile is so rewarding.

I grew up in the beautiful states of Montana and Wyoming. After graduating from the University of Wyoming, I met my soul mate and amazing husband and moved to New Mexico in 2014. We love being outdoors, camping, hiking, off-roading and spending time with friends and family. Our other favorite pastime is spoiling our funny and adorable teddy bear look-alike, Fozzie Bear. He is our Soft Wheaten Terrier that we affectionately refer to as our “terriorizer”.

Amanda, Hygienist

I have been a dental hygienist for 10 years and counting! Being a hygienist is something that I absolutely love doing, But the best part is how much I enjoy my patients.I am a native New Mexican who loves to hang out with her husband, two sons, and hound dog Copper . Traveling and boba tea are favorites for me!

As a graduate from the UNM School of Medicine in Dental Hygiene in 2017, I am very happy to be working in a career where I can educate and care for the many patients I have the pleasure to meet. I value what I do and where I am, it makes work exciting and there are so many people who appreciate the care we provide for their overall health, starting with their teeth. I enjoy connecting with others about places they've traveled and experiences they've had. It is one of my goals in my work, to make sure my patients are comfortable and getting all the answers to the questions they have about their oral health. When I am not working, I love being with my family and my many animals.

Taylor, Hygienist

As a new graduate from UNM’s Dental Hygiene program, I am excited to take a deep dive into the field of dental hygiene! I look forward to helping others with their smile and seeing the direct results of their care. I chose to become a hygienist because of the personal fulfillment I can achieve by helping others by caring for their smile! My commitment to dental hygiene is evident through patient care, with an emphasis on educating patients about the importance of oral hygiene and preventive care. Helping others is most definitely at the top of my list. Outside of my professional life, I love to hang out with my sisters, one of which is my identical twin. I also enjoy being with my wonderful fiance. In addition, I like to watch sports such as basketball and football, while also staying active. I look forward to what is yet to come!

Andrea, Hygienist

Andrea York is a native of New Mexico. She grew up in Deming and moved to the Rio Rancho area in January of 2021. She loves dental hygiene and helping patients to have a better understanding of oral health and overall wellness. She received her dental hygiene degree from El Paso Community College and her BS in human and social services from Eastern New Mexico. Most of Andrea's free time is spent with her grandchildren. Her hobbies include reading and cooking.

Ashley, Dental Assistant

Being in the dental field as a dental assistant for about 10 years now. My daily goal is being able to assist a patient with their need for a healthy smile. Being part of the transformation of a patients treatment plan from beginning to end is an essential part of job and seeing them happy just means I have done my best to make the experience meaningful. I am excited to be a part of the Southwest Dental team! On my free time I enjoy trying new restaurants and love spending time with my wonderful son and daughter..

Azryella, Dental Assistant

Azryella enjoys assisting patients’ needs and helping them obtain the perfect smile. Besides helping patients, she loves to be outdoors and go to cute, little brunch spots with friends. Outside of the dental office, she is always with her dog Phoebe. Phoebe is a black and grey spotted dachshund, and she’s so adorable. Azryella is excited to work with Dr. Hamid and our new staff.

I’ve been a dental assistant for 7 years now. I enjoy working in the dental field and I love helping patients and I have met some amazing people along the way. I have been married for 20 years now and have a beautiful daughter and one adorable grandson. What I do for fun is anything with my family is always the best time.
